"I published the site and it does not appear" is almost never a ranking problem. It is an earlier problem: Google does not yet know the site exists.
Discovery and indexing are different things
Discovery is Google finding out the address exists. Indexing is it reading the page and storing it. Ranking is deciding where to show it. The three happen in sequence, and getting stuck at the first is the most common case.
Realistic timelines
- With a sitemap submitted in Search Console: days to two weeks;
- With some site pointing to yours: usually faster, because Google arrives by following the link;
- With none of that: indefinite. It can take months, it can never happen.
How to know if you are already indexed
Search site:yourdomain.com on Google. If pages appear, you are indexed. If nothing appears, the problem is discovery — and no amount of work on the text will fix that.
What speeds it up
- registering in Google Search Console and submitting the sitemap;
- getting some already-known site to point to yours;
- keeping the site reachable and fast — a page slow to respond is visited less often.

Indexed is not the same as ranking well
